HEY, EVERYBODY... LISTEN UP!
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS!!

First, I have just completed Part Two of my next shar-video... both Parts One and Two finished of a total of about four... maybe a total of five parts to this one. I have decided that I will begin posting the parts piecemeal; beginning with Part One being posted tomorrow morning. I will plan on posting Part Two the following Tuesday morning, and Part Three (if completed) the following Tuesday morning, and so forth.

I have just posted both the Flash version (Slightly better visuals and sound) and the YouTube video version (workable on cellphones, pads, and computers).

Secondly, I am very optimistic that justice for Crystal Mangum is imminent. Won't set a specific date as I don't want to overburden Abe. Will give notice here of events that transpire towards the inevitable outcome of justice.

Stay tuned.

As you were.

Sidney,
For God's sake, are you back to your old, useless technique? You had a chance some months ago, but refused to do as I advised. YOU HAVE TO GET A LAWYER! I realize this costs money, but your buddy Kenhyderal and his secret friend Kilgo should be able to collect some money.
I thought for a moment you might even be able to get Nifong to help, but he's clearly just a coward who hides from the authorities.
Please think about this for a moment!

Hey, gui, mon ami.

An attorney is not the answer. Crystal Mangum has had plenty of them. Vann, Shella, Holmes, Meier, Petersen, the attorneys at the NC Prisoner Legal Services have all represented her at one time or another. They did not prevent her from being convicted of second-degree murder when the decedent's manner of death was an accident by a third party and not a homicide. I have fought harder and accomplished more than the attorneys who are licensed by the State Bar not because I have a more brilliant legal mind than they do... because I don't. The attorneys who have represented Mangum in the past do not want her to be freed and exonerated. The attorneys (and the defense expert forensic pathologist witness) want to protect the reputation of Duke University Hospital at the expense of having the Duke Lacrosse accuser spend up to eighteen years in prison... after all, she's an African American.

Besides, the Durham Public Defender's Office refused to represent Mangum as has civil rights attorney Al McSurely, NC Innocence Inquiry Commission under two different executive directors, the NC Center on Actual Innocence, the innocence project at NC Central University Law School, and other private attorneys who I contacted (Joseph Arbour, Alex Karnes, etc.).

And as you will see from the remaining episodes of this shar-video, the Courts are also fighting against Crystal Mangum. This is political at its core. The conspiracy against Mangum is able to flourish because the media is remaining silent and preventing the people from knowing the truths of Mangum's innocence. As you know, I started notifying media about Dr. Wecht's report beginning on October 31, 2019, and still there has been not one iota of a mention about it.

gui, what you understandably have yet to comprehend is that the justice system, especially in North Carolina, is cruel, corrupt, and racist. That is why what would work in most cases does not apply with Crystal Mangum's.

Let me know if further enlightenment is required.

So, I guess poor old CGM should just wait until her 14 years and 2 months have elapsed?

kenhyderal said...

@ Guiowen : No, all American citizens should rise up and demand justice. Otherwise unless justice reform occurs America is doomed to be despised and distained by all civilized people. "Land of the free", what a joke.

Let's start the accurate countdown:

Crystal will be released in 2,235 days (6 years 1 month 12 days).

Now, I'm not sure if there is some time she can still work off towards her minimum, so it may be a bit less than that, but not much. If you want to get the accurate release date, rather than keep watching Sid lie and fail, just check out this website:

Hey, gui, mon ami.

Tsk, tsk. How soon you forget sage lessons of the past... Remember the ancient Harrism:
"Whenever truth and justice is on one's side, there is always hope."

This applies more, now than ever, in Mangum's case... especially with Dr. Wecht's report.

Because I don't want to set Abe off on another countdown, I will not give a specific date, but I do believe that the reign of injustice for Crystal Mangum is nearing its gruesome end. In other words, Detractors, get out your crying towels and put them at the ready. You're going to be needing them real soon.

guiowen said...

Sidney,
You have to DO SOMETHING with Wecht's report. Writing long repetitious articles won't do it.

Ishmael said...

I think the problem is that Sid expects any lawyer hired to do things Sid's way. Even though "Sid's way" has been proven time and time again to NOT be in CGM's best interest.

As long as Sid is making the legal decisions for CGM, she will continue to be in the same spot she's in.

The BEST option for CGM is to hire an attorney, force Sid to turn over any and all documentation regarding her case, then force Sid to step away.

Until that happens, nothing's going to change.

Hey, gui, mon ami.

You are absolutely correct, and that has been my objective... to get the article before the public through the press. But getting the Wecht report before the people through media broadcast or publication is no less easy than getting well-intentioned legal counsel for Crystal Mangum. Unfortunately, I cannot force the media to cover the story.

Notable dates for the Wecht report:
October 25, 2019 the report is issued;
October 31, 2019 MAR is filed and media notification is begun;
November 25, 2019 CBS-17 News conducts 20-minute Skype interview with Dr. Wecht;
Today, January 17, 2020 absolutely no media coverage and informed that CBS-17 will not air the Skype interview with Dr. Wecht.

This suppression of the story is not unlike that following Reginald Daye's April 2011 brain-death induced weeklong comatose state following esophageal intubation.

If you have any suggestions of ways in which I might be able to utilize the Wecht report to justice's advantage, I would love to hear them.

Hey, Ishmael.

Actually, I had/have been staying out of Mangum's attorneys' way. The only exceptions was during the pre-trial phase when the only motions filed were for bail reduction, and in the post-conviction phase when I filed the Habeas corpus to preserve Mangum's standing in the Federal Court. Keep in mind that the NC Prisoner Legal Services abandoned Mangum in January 2017.

Clearly Mangum's attorneys did not act in her best interests... especially by not meeting with me to discuss the manner/cause of death issues. Also, while under control of attorneys the three-year statute of limitations on the malicious prosecution claim was allowed to expire.

As I have repeatedly stated, it has been impossible to get legal representation for Crystal Mangum that will act in her best interests and not the best interests of the vindictive State and Duke University.

As far as the documents and evidence in Mangum's case goes, most of the vital documents have already been posted on my blog site.

One last thing... Crystal is no dummy. She is the brains behind her legal defense. I just report information to her and carry out her wishes. Usually.

Kenny,

Let's take a closer look at one of your posts:

Question: "Did you even share the information with Crystal?" (referring to Kilgo's story about the party)

Kenny's Answer: "I was in regular contact with Crystal and it was in June of 2010 I introduced her to Dr. Harr."

Kenny obviously fails to answer the question. There are several possible explanations. Perhaps, Kenny's reading comprehension and writing composition skills are so weak that he simply does not understand the question or is unable to communicate an answer clearly. Or, perhaps, Kenny simply wants to obfuscate in order to continue his pattern of lying and misleading those who visit this blog.

You tells us, Kenny. What is the explanation?

guiowen said...

Kenny never lies. I know because he himself told me so. The problem is that, because of context, he forgets half of all he's done and misinterprets half of wht other prople do..

kenhyderal said...

@ Durham Observer: The answer, as my response clearly indicated, is yes!

kenhyderal said...

@Guiowen: You're beating a "dead horse" by harping on my several year old innocuous mistatement. It's probably all you can come up with, though.

guiowen said...

Durham Observer,
Kenny doesn't answer your question. Please understand that, because of context, he misunderstood your question.

A Durham Observer said...

Dr. Harr,

Kenny claims that he provided Crystal with information he received from Kilgo, a former poster at your blog. According to Kenny, Kilgo's friend saw an assault at the infamous lacrosse party and broke "the wall of silence."

Have you discussed Kilgo with Crystal? If you can locate Kilgo, it will be the first step toward restoring Crystal's good name and this should generate an outpouring of public support for her. At that point, the mainstream media and the Durham District Attorney will have no choice but to give serious consideration to Dr. Wecht's report and your MAR.

You need to discuss Kilgo with Crystal the next time you visit her.

kenhyderal said...

@ D.O.: Unfortunately "the mainstream media" is likely to side with Governor Cooper and with Duke University. Since Kilgo's friend has never come forward and seemingly regrets having talked to Kilgo; Kilgo, perhaps out of fear or because of a promise made to this friend, is, with him, entrenched behind "the wall of silence". Dr. Harr is aware of what Kilgo said on this blog as are certain other posters ; some identified and some Anonymous. Meanwhile, at least for now, the perpetrators of this crime are resting easy.

kenhyderal said...

PS Do you have any concern about using the anonymous appellation Durham Observer?

Hey, A Durham Observer.

I agree with the potential value of Kilgo's friend's testimony regarding the attack, but not being a detective or having close access as a Raleigh resident, it is not a venture I would consider immediately. Perhaps after Crystal is freed and vindicated regarding Reginald Daye's demise, she may want to look into that. The Durham District Attorney's Office, the courts, and the media are extremely resistant when it comes to Mangum's case. If the media won't even cover a report by world-renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht, then I doubt that confessions of a friend of Kilgo would move them.

I have not discussed Kilgo with Crystal as my focus is primarily on the 2013 second-degree murder conviction... which I believe is a winnable strategy despite recalcitrant media's determination to keep the truth from the people.

Hey, A Durham Observer.

I know kenhyderal better than almost any other commenter. He knows Crystal and is better informed regarding the 2006 Duke Lacrosse case than am I.

There are times when I am extremely busy working on a sharlog or shar-video and have precious little time to contribute to the comments section... such as now as I frantically try to complete the multiple parts of my current video. kenhyderal has oft-times taken up the slack due to my absence from this forum with his commentary which is much in conformity with my opinions.

By responding to your comment directed to me, it was not his intention to speak on my behalf, but to provide his insight on a topic with which he is much better versed than myself.

Part Two of my current shar-video is on schedule to be posted tomorrow, Tuesday morning. Have a lot of work ahead of me to complete Part Three.

At Anonymous D.O.: Most likely, with the article, "The Durham Observer" will be a registered corporate name. Legally speaking, that may be the case even without the article. Just sayin' ! Many years ago, when I opened my google account, I was living in Hyder Alaska on the US Canadian border. The name kenhyderak was already taken so I went with al instead of ak.

Hey, Anony.

On December 23, 2019 I filed a grievance with the NC State Bar against Durham D.A. Satana Deberry for ignoring me and my attempts to present evidence of Mangum's innocence. I tried to hand-deliver a letter later that day but the office was closed. The letter, which was ultimately delivered on Friday, December 27th, inquired as to whom evidence of innocence was to be directed.

On January 6, 2020, I received a letter dated January 2, 2020 from the NC State Bar in response to my letter dated December 23rd.

LINK to both aforementioned letters

On January 9, 2020 I received the entire Grievance packet that I submitted with the title page stamped "January 2, 2020." There was no accompanying letter, so I assume that the action taken was presented in the Bar's letter of January 2nd.

guiowen said...

Sidney,
I have already advised you to HIRE A LAWYER, I realize it costs money, but it's the only way you'll get any relief. Ask your buddy Kenhyderal for money. Ask Fat Kilgo (if he actually exists)for money. Ask all the members of J4N to contribute.
Nana Duffuor was able to get money. Why can't you?

kenhyderal said...

@ Guiowen: Getting a Lawyer, licenced in North Carolina, to take on Crystal, as a client, is problematic. Especially with Roy Cooper now being Governor and his acolyte Josh Stein as his successor in the AG position. That, and the unholy power that is wielded by Duke University make Lawyers there, fearful of championing this marginalized and slandered AFRICAN American woman. Prudence tells them to shy away from her, or if they do take her on to just go through the motions of putting up a perfunctory defence insuring her loss. It seems North Carolina does not have an Atticus Finch or even a crusader for justice like former DA Nifong. He is disbarred and Dr. Harr is sanctioned. The whole lot of them are frightened of the disgrace on their collective reputations that would ensue if the truth came out. They know Crystal and her supporters will have difficulty raising money to hire a Lawyer who, intuition tells them, will take their money and, like Meir and Petersen, fail to deliver.

guiowen said...

Kenny,
I see you've simply given up hope. Too bad!

So....You going to change the name of your shlog to “Grievance NOT filed with NC State Bar against Durham D.A. Satana Deberry"?

Better yet, you going to report this royal f*ckup to CGM? Or would this be one of those....unusual instances?
