You did not get it. Attorney Manley was urging the public not to act the same way Nifong tried to get the public to act in the Duke Lacrosse Hoax, namely, to presume the accused guilty(or in the case of the Duke Rape Hoax, presume guilty the people Nifong accused of the crime before there had been any investigation-you are deluded if you say Nifong did not actually accuse them, after publicly declaring early in the case that a crime had happened, that the perpetrators were members of the Lacrosse team, and that the crime had been racially motivated you are deceiving yourself).

How does this not add up to the sitting DA accusing people of a crime before there were any formal charges. When the evidence came back, specifically the finding of DNA on Crystal, who had accused the Lacrosse players of perpetrating a gang rape in which DNA had been deposited, which did not match the DNA of the men Nifong accused.

That is called a rush to judgment.

What the attorney for one of the boys accused of murder by throwing rocks at the interstate was calling for not rushing to judgment. That is radically different from your contention that the issues of the Duke Rape hoax should have been decided in court. Which is particularly heinous because, as I have pointed out before, the defendants could not have gotten a fair trial in Durham, largely because of Nifong's rush to judgment.

Regarding Sidney's frivolous, non meritorious lawsuits against Duke which have gone down in history as Harr I, Harr II, and Harr III, he claims that those in power at Duke conspired to discriminate against him after reading his letters to the President of Duke and the Dean of Duke Law School informing them he intended to attend the Breyer event. When I asked Sidney what proof he had that anyone in power ever read his letters, he admitted he had no hard evidence, but then said any reasonable man would surmise that those in power at Duke had conspired to discriminate against him.

I repeat the following facts. Crystal alleged she had been gang raped by members of the Duke Lacrosse team who had deposited their bodily fluids on her person. Crystal said in her statement to the police that Kim Roberts/Pittman was aware that she had been assaulted. When Kim drove away from the party, with Crystal in her car, she called the police, but not to report a rape. She did not drive Crystal to a hospital or to a police station but to a grocery store parking lot where she asked a security guard to forcibly remove Crystal from her car. When the rape kit materials were tested, the only DNA found on her person did not match the DNA of the men whom she, and Nifong, had accused of raping her. Even when subjected to a totally improper lineup procedure, conducted by an officer involved in the investigation, an officer who had a documented bias against Duke students, Crystal could not reliably identify any of the men she had accused as an assailant(for Sidney's elucidation, certainty does not equal reliability).

Any reasonable person would have surmised from the documented facts that Crystal had lied about being raped. No reasonable person would have surmised that there were other, unidentified facts which proved Crystal had told the truth, which is what Kenny has been asserting.

There is mention of Crystal having made statements to the police and then denying them.

There are a couple of mentions of Crystal looking at pictures of the party in which she was acting as if she had not been assaulted, including a picture of her sprawled on the porch, laughing and wearing one shoe. Crystal said that someone had been paid to alter the pictures, that the picture of her sprawled on the porch, smiling, wearing one shoe was taken when she arrived at the party. Kenny doesn't deal in facts. He deals in speculation, innuendo, conspiracy, sharts, false characterizations, masterdebating, straw man arguments, character assassination and ad hominem attacks. He won't do anything because he knows there is nothing that can be done. Justice has caught up with Mangum and Nifong and there is nothing Sid or Kenny can do to circumvent it, except to rail against reality and make false assertions.

Hopefully, Crystal has learned something from this experience, otherwise she will end up back in prison again. As a known perjurer and convicted murderer, her days of getting free passes for her misdeeds are over. If Sid and Kenny were any kinds of friends, they would be giving her the guidance she needs to accept responsibility for her choices, change her behavior and become a productive member of society, instead of trying to make (increasingly ridiculous) excuses for her poor judgment bad actions and convince her that she is a victim of some sort of conspiracy.

In the end, Sid and Kenny's actions have only hurt Crystal. Had she accepted responsibility for her actions, she likely would have been able to work a deal where she pleaded guilty to a lesser charge - manslaughter perhaps - and would be out of prison by now or at least be close to being released. However, due to her inability to understand and come to grips with her own decisions and choices, she is now a convicted murderer and faces almost 10 more years in prison.

While I am sure this lesson is lost on Kenny and Sid, perhaps Crystal will eventually come to understand it before she is released. Otherwise, she will continue to have troubles and will face future arrests and prosecutions.; October 28, 2017 at 11:47 AM

The attorney general dismissed the charges against the Duke lacrosse players and exonerated them because after investigation he found that there was NO evidence to support the charge that Crystal was raped.

Mike Nifong was disbarred and criminally charged and convicted for his gross misconduct in the lacrosse case.

Crystal was charged, tried and convicted of murdering Reginald Daye. Two separate experts - including defense expert - concluded that the stab wound inflicted by Crystal was the proximate cause of Mr. Daye's death. Crystal presented her self defense claim and it was rejected by the jury. Crystal appealed her conviction and lost. Sid has filed further papers contesting her conviction and he has lost those, for reasons that have been previously explained and that you refuse to acknowledge as legitimate.

In case you have not noticed you yourself obsess over how black people do not get justice in this country, and what you call evidence, is that Crystal, after a fair and objective trial, much fairer and more objective than the innocent Lacrosse defendants would have gotten if your fantasy had come true, that they would have been taken to trial. Kenny believes people are trying to defend the actions of the people Kenny believes raped Crystal. Since it has been definitively shown Crystal was not raped, there are no people who have to be defended because they raped Crystal. The rape did not happen.

The only ones defending actions of people connected with the Duke Rape Hoax are Sidney and Kenny. They defend the actions of false accuser Crystal and the actions of corrupt DA Nifong.

You forget that during the American Civil War, enlightened Britain supported the Slave holding South. Yes Britain was officially neutral. However British subjects provided the South with War Material which the South itself could not manufacture, and British subjects built most of the sea going warships the Confederate Navy deployed, and the British Government did little to nothing to prevent it. Curious behavior for a government which claimed it had th right to blockade US ports and capture US merchant ships entering a US port, which right was justified by the possibility that the US was trading with Britain's enemy, Napoleonic France, don't you think. Look up the Leander affair of 1806. to see an episode in which this happened

Sidney also advocates for Shan Carter, a convicted drug dealer who robbed another drug dealer. Shan Carter was on the street when the other drug dealer, Tyrone Baker, confronted him. Shan Carter pulled a gun on him. Tyrone Baker fled. Shan Carter chased him down and shot him dead. In the process he killed an innocent 9 year old boy. Sidney says he acted in self defense and the death of the innocent 9 year old was just an unfortunate accident.

Anyway, apologies for not commenting much recently. But, I have been doing my best to try and have Crystal out of custody by Christmas. Sad to say that so far my efforts have fallen short. The adversary is a Goliath, but there's always hope with truth and justice on one's side.

Currently Crystal is appealing to the Fourth Circuit Court the hurried denial of her Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus by U.S. District Court Judge Loretta C. Biggs. I am currently working on a sharlog about it. I completed Part One yesterday, and it should be not much longer before I have Part Two finished.

In the meantime, I will post a blog memorializing a brief encounter I had with Jim Goodmon, the CEO of Capitol Broadcasting Company (which owns WRAL-5 News) on October 26, 2017. I will post that blog (already completed) this coming weekend.

Also, Crystal Mangum is no longer held in the Raleigh women's prison... visitation requires a 110 minute drive each way. A bit time consuming.

There are other strategies underway of which I cannot divulge, because then I would have to kill you... (one of my favorite lines in the movie "Johnny English").

It has been explained to you. Crystal, under your influence, filed a motion for appropriate relief in Federal Court. She should have filed such a motion in State Court(which she might have done had she trusted a real lawyer rather than you). The Federal Court graciously treated it as a motion for a writ of Habeas Corpus. And, as Crystal did not exhaust all the remedies available in State Court, the Federal Court correctly dismissed her motion.

Reminds me of Crystal Mangum falsely accusing innocent Caucasian men or raping her to avoid the consequences of being drunk and then being committed for detox.

Or Tawana Brawley falsely accusing anonymous Caucasian men of raping her so she could escape the consequences of staying out overnight without her step father's permission.

Miscalculations and disappointments are to be expected when someone with no legal training attempts to practice law. If I were foolish enough to try to perform surgery on a trauma patient, I would make many miscalculations and the patient would suffer disappointments (or worse). That's why I don't practice medicine, and that's why you should stop trying to practice law.

Same applies to Sidney, the minimally trained medical school graduate who never was accepted into residency training, who never achieved medical specialty board certification, who spent most of his post medical school career filing and losing frivolous, non meritorious lawsuits but who, nevertheless thinks his MD degree makes him qualified to offer expert medical testimony.; November 8, 2017 at 12:28 PM
