Anonymous said... Kenhyderal -- I'll refer you to Walt's comments from 2014:
"The only turncoat in this saga is none other than Sid. He violated the confidence that Crystal placed in him when she gave him confidential information. He then told the world, and more importantly, he told the state that the defense expert agreed with the ME that the proximate cause of death was a stab wound. Everything else about the ME's report and the IME is irrelevant."
I'll take his word over either yours or a so-called "lay advocate", who's only experience with the law is a large number of failed lawsuits.
kenhyderal said... @ Anonymous 12:48: Disgraced ME Dr. Nicholls and the faint hearted tenuous support he got from Dr. Roberts have been thoroughly discredited by the distinguished Dr. Wecht, an expert with worldwide standing and credibility. Dr. Wecht is correct and so is lay-advocate Dr. Harr who has been right from the very beginning. The sad part is the State knows this but fails to right this injustice.

Hey, kenhyderal.
You very concisely capture the essence of the politico-legal problem facing Crystal.
guiowen said... So, Sidney, Is Cyril Wecht planning to testify in court in NC?
March 10, 2020 at 5:15 PM
Hey, gui, mon ami.
Yes, he would be willing to testify in court. That is part of what he professionally does. However, I think his report would be pretty much self-evident. The 20-minute Skype interview that CBS-17 News conducted with him on November 25, 2019 is one wherein he explains his report in depth. Unfortunately, CBS doesn't want the people to see it.
Anonymous said... You know, all Crystal has to do is file a bar complaint if she feels she wasn't adequately represented. Interestingly, if she files against her trial attorney, it's a waiver of attorney/client privilege as they can defend themselves. Isn't it interesting for everything you and Sid claim, and everything Crystal tells you, that's the one thing she refuses to do, so they can't speak out and defend themselves.
Sid did have a letter from Meier up here at one point where he said he would look at speaking to Sid if she gave a waiver, and also pointing out that Sid is simply wrong about the plea offer that Sid continues to allege was made, instead spelling out the plea offer that was actually offered. Once commentators started pointing out that Sid was being contradicted, in writing, and if the lawyer was lying they had a good Bar Complaint, Sid pulled the letter down and we heard nothing else.
Kenny, are you really this stupid and dense or is it all an act?
March 11, 2020 at 10:28 AM
Hey, Anony.
If I'm not mistaken, Crystal did file a complaint with the State Bar long ago against Dan Meier, and no action was taken. The same happened with her complaint against Ann Petersen... the State Bar taking more than two year and a half years before rendering a decision finding no fault and taking no action.
The processes for oversight of lawyers and judges is mostly for illusion... to give the perception that a higher body is monitoring their professional work. It is far from being fair and objective as the NC State Bar and the NC Judicial Standards Commission base their rulings on desired outcome rather than fairness and facts. If desirous of obtaining relief, it is usually a waste of time, unless the judge or attorney is otherwise targeted.. such as former Durham D.A. Mike Nifong.
If I was Mangum I would contact the media and say that I want to come forth and confess that what I did in the Duke Lacrosse case was a lie. This would be based on my coming to terms with the what I did during my time in jail. I would then also introduce Dr. Wecht's report and explain how difficult it has been in getting this in front of the court. I would get my children involved also and have them included in the media coverage. Sidney you could help in this, but do not put yourself in front of the cameras, as you just have to much baggage with the media and court system. It has to only be Mangum and her children. Based on how honest and sincere she is on camera, along with her family, hopefully a lawyer or innocence project organization would take up her murder case. As they say, truth always wins in the end...
Anonymous 3-12-20 8:38 said " If I was Mangum I would contact the media and say that I want to come forth and confess that what I did in the Duke Lacrosse case was a lie"...……………….. Unlike some in the Duke Lacrosse Case, Crystal has nothing to confess. One of the major deficiencies in the U.S. Justice System is the cruel and unusual punishments meted out to accused minorities by long delays, impossible bails and unethical coercement of the innocent to take plead deals for time served. Not a recipe for justice to prevail. Preserve the status quo and keep the gravy train going. Everyone from AG Cooper down to the erstwhile Lawyers who used to post here (Walt, Lance etc.) knows Crystal is innocent of murder. Correcting this wrong would be an admission that they are part of and defenders of a corrupt, widely distained construct.

Hey, Anony.
I totally agree with kenhyderal (March 15, 2020 @ 2:59 p.m.) that Crystal Mangum has nothing to apologize regarding the Duke Lacrosse case. I believe, and she has always maintained, that she told the truth about being sexually assaulted. The problem is that the media is biased against her. After the Duke Lacrosse incident she gave many interviews to the media, including CNN, but they refused to air them (in my opinion because she appeared to be intelligent and credible). Mangum is more than willing to be interviewed by the media, but they don't want to interview her. For months CBS-17 News has been talking about interviewing her, but so far... nothing.
I have tried my best to get the media to report on Dr. Wecht's findings, but they have all refused and ignored me.
As far as Mangum's children getting involved media-wise, this has been presented but understandably something not pursued by them. As far as I'm concerned, the media does its best to discredit me whenever possible.
FYI, my next shar-video will be about the media and its role in Mangum's case.
Sidney, I hope your announcement is that you have finally managed to get a lawyer. Otherwise,I don't see how you're even going to get Wecht's testimony before a court.
@ Guiowen: The American Justice System is more concerned with keeping the gravy train going then it is in seeing justice done. There isn't a Lawyer around the world, or in the U.S., who does not know an expert opinion of death by accident by renown forensic pathologist Dr. Wecht means this never was a homicide and Crystal should be released forthwith and compensated for the wrongful conviction. The AG knows this as well and to not act is, in itself, criminal. But I guess that's the U.S. for you. Reform, reform;drain the swamp!
Kenny, It's been ages since you posted a reasonable, true comment. I realize this happens to you because of context, but nobody really cares what you think. I've predicted this several times:
"Kenny: Reform,reform;drain the swamp!"
but you just make it clear I know your act too well.

Hey, gui, mon ami... that is not the announcement. But even getting an attorney to represent Crystal and her best interests would not guarantee that the media would report the story about Dr. Wecht's report. The media is the problem, and it has been determined to date, more than four and a half months later, not to present the truths of Mangum's innocence to the public.
Let’s try to keep some connection to the real world. To refer to Dr. Wecht as a “renown” forensic pathologist is comical.
March 20, 2020 at 5:51 PM
Hey, Anony.
I don't see how you could, with a straight keyboard, challenge that Dr. Wecht is a world renowned forensic pathologist. There is no one I would rather have than him to review Crystal's case.

Hey, Anony.
To quote the Soothsayer in Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" who responded to Caesar's statement, "The Ides of March are come," with his response, "Aye, Caesar, but not gone."
HEY, EVERYBODY... LISTEN UP! A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!
(Drum roll in the background.)
I have been moving ahead with plans to marry Crystal Gail Mangum. It will most likely be a prison wedding, as soon as coronavirus permits. I already sent in preliminary papers to get the process underway and I have a minister willing to perform the ceremony. A couple of weeks ago I purchased two identical wedding bands for the ceremony.
Keep in mind that I've been visiting Crystal weekly for more than eight years and gotten to know her well and fall in love with her. The age difference is my greatest misgiving, but we are compatible in all other respects.
Also keep in mind that Governor Roy Cooper, though he made defamatory statements about her character and mental status, has never met Crystal Mangum and has never spoken to her. Likewise the media, which vilified and demonized Mangum has had very little contact with her and has reported stories about her that were detrimental and with a purpose to discredit her.
I don't anticipate the media will cover my marriage to Mangum as that would go against the portrait it wants to paint of her as a psychotic emotionally unstable and violent woman with a penchant for stabbing or killing her boyfriends... someone who nobody would want to be with, much less marry.
We are both looking forward to getting hitched at the earliest possible time. Will keep you posted, as the media will not likely carry the news.
That concludes the very important announcement... viewers of this site hearing the news here first.

Sid,
For years, I thought you were just a harmless clown. However, I now think you must have deep rooted mental problems.
Why do you think the media should cover you marriage? It is of absolutely no interest to the public.
I am so happy to hear the news. I take great pride in having been the person to have introduced them. These are two very special people, who, have been unjustly slandered, libeled and demonized. They will soon be vindicated and eventually be widely honored for heroically prevailing and surviving cruel and unusual treatment and gross violations of their civil rights.
I know how you feel, Sid....Media didn’t cover our wedding, either. Bastards. You make CGM call you “Daddy”? If you did, I bet the media would cover it.

Hey, Anony.
Like it or not, Crystal Mangum is a public figure, and therefore whatever she does is of public interest... at least to some extent. Sure, our wedding ceremony will not approach the importance of that of Harry and Meghan, but the significance of it will be that it will show a change in her personal status that could impact her legal situation. Besides, she has been derided in the past for making bad choices... especially with men. She's also been portrayed as a psycho with a penchant for stabbing boyfriends. So her social transition to a married woman, if not the ceremony itself, should be newsworthy... at least in my opinion.
I would love to have kenhyderal serve as best man, however the issues related to the wedding ceremony are quite restrictive in prison. For example only two guests are allowed to attend (the minister presiding over the wedding is considered as one guest), and both guests must be on the visitation list.
So although Crystal and I very much would be thrilled to have kenhyderal in attendance as best man, witness, or guest, it is just not practical... especially in the near term.

Hey, Anony.
Maybe the media didn't cover your wedding because you're a nobody!!
(Haha... just joshing. I'm sure your nuptials were worthy of news coverage.)
As far as my future wife, I don't make her do anything. She's an intelligent and independent woman who is free to do as she pleases.
We do have pet names for each other, but "Daddy" is not one of them.
Anonymous said... So, since you are planning a prison wedding, I assume that means you have given up thinking she will get out anytime soon?
March 23, 2020 at 3:50 AM
Hey, Anony.
Your assumption carries a grain of truth. My thinking is that in light of Dr. Wecht's report, the State/courts/media, by doing nothing are stubbornly digging in (or in Trumpology "doubling down").
Though we would have preferred a traditional wedding on the outside, I feel that marrying her now will give much needed leverage as an advocate-husband rather than just a friend.
@ Anonymous 3-23-20 5:15 In view of Dr. Wecht's findings, anybody who sincerely believes Crystal Mangum is guilty of murder is divorced from reality. Unfortunately, more than likely, it is ill-will towards Crystal and not reality that seeks to dismiss this truth and keep her unjustly incarcerated. All the so-called experts who used to post here like the self-described medical genius Surgeon Dr. Anonymous and Lawyers like Walt and Lance, by now, all realize they were dead wrong but instead of humbly accepting reality they chose to slink off
There you go again. You and Kenny both desperately need to reconnect with reality.
Please explain for us how marrying Crystal could possibly provide you with any leverage?
March 23, 2020 at 5:15 PM
Hey, Anony.
I think it is pretty apparent that if I advocate on Crystal's behalf as her husband, it carries more weight than if I do it as a friend... especially where legal issues are concerned.
Ideally, I had hoped that Crystal would have been freed prior to getting married, but with the State, courts, and media disregarding Dr. Wecht's report and its significance, it seems best that we proceed.
Anonymous said... I honestly can't think of two people who deserve each other more.

Hey, Anony.
I wholeheartedly agree with your first sentence. Having known Crystal for more than eight years with weekly visits, I feel extremely fortunate to be marrying her. Keep in mind that Roy Cooper, who said disparaging things about her, has never met her and never spoken to her. The media, likewise, has had minimum use contact with her.
So, your condolences are not required, but thanks anyway.

Hey, kenhyderal.
I agree with your assessment. However, I miss commenters like Walt, Lance, J. Swift, and a few others because they often stimulated thought and made this site more interesting. The upside is that they've seen the light.
I stopped posting comments when the posts from Dr. Harr started becoming repetitive -- I made my comments, asked my questions. Why bother asking the same questions and making the same points?
As Albert Einstein is credited with saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”
Quite frankly, I had (and continue to have) much better things to do than comment here.
Dr. Harr (despite, I'm sure, his best efforts) has brought nothing new to the unfortunate situation that started with the death of Reginald Daye and ended with Crystal Mangum's incarceration for second-degree murder.
And I'm sorry Dr. Harr, being Crystal's husband does not lend you any more legal standing in this case than being a complete stranger would. That is, you have none, either way. You should be up front and make sure Crystal is aware of this if she is not.
Kenhyderal, as Crystal's friend, you should expect Dr. Harr to make her aware of this as well.
With that, congratulations to you and Crystal, Dr. Harr.
On a lighter note, are you familiar with the work of Sven Drefahl?
Lance (the Lawyer) said: "I made my comments, asked my questions. Why bother asking the same questions and making the same points?"...….. Lance, I assume you have read Dr. Wecht's report. It's something the Jury never saw. Do you agree with his conclusions that Daye's death was accidental and not homicide? Why does this report not call into question the verdict and what should be the proper response by the AG? p.s. As to Prof. Drehar's study I wish Dr. Hart and Crystal a long and prosperous life together.
Not Lance, (he apparently has better things to do).
Dr. Cyril Wecht has been in private practice since what, the 1960s? He was available for the first trial, but wasn't used.
Since he wasn't used then, and his report can't be used in an appeal (appeals do not take into consideration new evidence or new witnesses), it doesn't really matter what I or Lance, or anyone else thinks about the report. Sorry.
If the goal is to get CGM a retrial (let's say for juror misconduct or bias), then the report CAN be used.
BUT -- she needs a criminal lawyer for that -- NOT a husband, and certainly not someone as legally inept as Sid.
@ Anonymous; 3-24-20 3:08 Since an expert (ie. Dr. Wecht) has stated that the cause of death was accident it's obvious the verdict was contrary to law and contrary to the weight of evidence. (weighing his report against that of disgraced ME Nichols and it's half-hearted support by Dr. Roberts.) There is no doubt, had the jury seen this report they would of found Crystal not guilty. This probably constitutes a case of inadequate defence by her attorney. So, if Wecht is right, are you suggesting an innocent Crystal should remain incarcerated for a murder that didn't happen. Or, as I asked Lance do you believe Nicholls and Roberts (she stabbed him, he died) I assume you've read the 3 reports. What ever the rules let us strive for justice as the ultimate desired result.
- If the goal is to get CGM a RETRIAL, then she needs a CRIMINAL LAWYER.
By all means, strive for justice. If you think retrial and and a decision of "not guilty" is justice for her, it STARTS with getting her a criminal lawyer.
I don't see you doing that. I don't see Sid doing that.
Go to any lawyer licensed to practice in NC, give them a copy of the official trial transcript and all pertinent papers from that case, and a copy of the Wecht report and see if they will take the case.
By no means should you hand this lawyer ANY of the work that Sid has done, nor should Sid be involved in the discussion. His worthless attempts to this point are just going to cast doubt on the case. He should NOT be involved in any way. He's not a lawyer and he has no legal standing in this case.
Failing to do so can only lead to the conclusion that justice is NOT your "ultimate desired result".
@ Anonymous 3-25-20 9:42 Far from being worthless Dr. Harr's attempts have uncovered the cabal wanting to see an innocent Crystal put away for as long as possible. North Carolina Lawyers really don't want to truly defend her. Her mistreatment at the hands of the State, if exposed, would reflect badly on the whole bunch of them. Not an Atticus Finch in the lot. They defend an amoral and disreputable system because they themselves are beneficiaries of it. The poor can't get justice because they can't afford it. Cooper and Stein know Crystal is being held wrongly. They have Dr. Wecht's report thanks to Dr. Harr. It's an open and shut case of innocence. There was no murder. Duke accidently killed him. Those who chose Duke, the State's government and Justice Department over an innocent poor black marginalized and demonized African American Mother will eventually pay big time for this miscarriage. Get a Criminal Lawyer huh? She had five. Either because of incompetence, indifference or enmity they did absolutely nothing for her and in fact went along with the "program". Thankfully there was a fighter for justice who came to her rescue

Hey, Lance.
Thanks for the congrats. Crystal and I are very much looking for to the wedding, although I would've preferred a more traditional one on the outside.
Thanks also for the reference to Sven's work of which I had not been familiar. But I had always been under the impression that marriage, in general, was a big benefit for men. I didn't know about how longevity was related to age difference and gender as explored in Sven's work. Rest assured that I will do what I can to insure that the future Mrs. Harr lives a long life.
To the substance of your comment, I tend to disagree. There is much new that is introduced all of the time on my blog site. For example, I don't think you've commented on Dr. Cyril Wecht's report that was issued in October 2019 and its ramifications. There's also the issues surrounding the unjust rulings by the NC Court of Appeals. For example, do you believe that the three-judge panel made the correct ruling to affirm despite the fact that the State prevented Mangum from carrying her work product with her to court? Being forced to represent herself from memory? Clearly a case of first impression, the major issue on appeal, and one which the judges could not reply with logical reasoning, and instead chose to ignore. There's no justification for it. Any fair-minded person would reverse and remand a case in which one of the party's was prevented from using work-product and forced to represent him/herself from memory alone. Don't you agree?
If you believe the NC Court of Appeals was correct in affirming the lower court's ruling against Mangum despite the flagrant denial of due process, then I would love to hear your reasoning... after all, the 3-black-rober panel could not come up with an explanation.

Hey, kenhyderal.
Thanks again for the kind words for me and Crystal. We both look forward to visiting you in Canada sometime soon.
Anyway, you posed good questions to Lance. Dr. Wecht's report also gives much more significance to the 18-page document from Dr. Nichols' personnel folder that Judge Paul Ridgeway is unreasonably withholding from Crystal.

Hey, Anony.
I believe kenhyderal did a fantastic job of addressing your comments. However, let me a the following points.
Yes, Dr. Wecht was available at the time of her trial in 2013, but I was not her attorney and could not have brought him in as a witness. The fact is that Mangum's attorneys were not interested in having their client acquitted. They were interested in shielding Duke University Hospital's responsibility for Daye's death... otherwise her attorneys would've talked to me and allowed me to help them present a defense based on manner of death and not one limited to self-defense.
Another problem is that an impartial and objective forensic pathologist would have reached the same conclusions reached by Dr. Wecht. I reached the same conclusions as Dr. Wecht long before he was retained for this case.
As far as obtaining a lawyer, I have repeatedly stated that Crystal and I have both tried to get an attorney for her, but none would even talk to me. The NC Innocence Inquiry Commission should have represented her, as should the NAACP and ACLU legal departments. Wouldn't you agree?
guiowen said... Kenhyderal, Instead of whining, why don't you help Sidney find a lawyer?

Hey, gui, mon ami,
Crystal faces a singular problem unlike the majority of criminal clients... her attorneys do not represent her best interests, and the judges presiding over her cases rule on desired outcome rather than facts, fairness, and merits of the case. The lack of impartiality of judges is what the five-part shar-video is all about.

I take it by your comments you're NOT going to assist her in getting a criminal lawyer.
So my conclusion is correct.
You should use Lance as a role model, and find a better use for your time. It's obvious you're just commenting here to...
Why ARE you commenting here, since you're not actually doing anything to benefit CGM?
March 25, 2020 at 3:31 PM
Hey, Anony.
I think it's obvious why kenhyderal comments on this blog site. Clearly it is for the purpose of enlightening commenters such as yourself. kenhyderal has as true an understanding of this case as do I, and I appreciate his efforts to provide edification and elucidation to those who don't fully comprehend all nuances of Mangum's legal cases... which thereby frees my time to work on the shar-videos, send out communications, and work on other projects with an end towards achieving justice.
Keep in mind that this is the only site anywhere and in any media that shares the truths of Mangum's innocence. An obvious example is that there is no other source that even mentions the October 25, 2019 report by Dr. Cyril Wecht. Duke, the State, the Courts, and the media are all working to keep this and other truths in Mangum's case hidden from the masses.
Anonymous said: "You can count on 1 hand the number of people that read this blog and comments on any given day."...……………………………………….. NOTHING you have posted here has in ANY way helped Crystal Mangum. Nothing Kenny has posted here has done ANYTHING to help Crystal Mangum
Consider yourself elucified.
March 26, 2020 at 8:32 AM
Hey, Anony.
I don't know how many people visit my blog site or view the shar-videos. Could get some statistics since it is my site, but I haven't done that on either my blog site or YouTube.
As I've said many times before, attempting to retain an attorney for Crystal has been futile. Furthermore, she needs a dedicated lawyer with her interests as a priority. Surely the NC Innocence Inquiry Commission should have taken her case, but it is more interested in protecting the state. The NAACP should have also provided legal assistance for Crystal, but it has refused, as well. I consider it a compromised organization because it values contributions and donations more than justice for African Americans.
Though my posts to date have not generated results I would have liked, they do leave a record of the truths in Crystal Mangum's case. Keep in mind that my blog site is the only source of information about Mangum's predicament.
I don't know what Crystal's kids think of me. You would have to talk to them about that.
I can tell you what I think of Crystal's kids, though. I am quite fond of all three of them. They are very kind, sociable, intelligent young adults, the youngest is thirteen. I look forward to becoming their stepfather.
If you look at YouTube, your videos generally have less than 30 views, and a lot of those are probably you. No one is watching them.
This site is a joke, and your marriage to Crystal shows how demented you really are. I bet you got her to say yes by telling her it would help her case. She doesn't love you, she wants to be free, which this will do nothing to advance.
@ Anonymous 6:50 3-30-20...………………….. In regard to the wrongful incarceration of Crystal Mangum this site is the only source for actual proof of this ongoing travesty. You can cite no facts disproving this assertion. Your speculation about Dr. Harr's and Crystal's relationship is without merit and really quite disgusting. It certainly says a lot about the bitter and cynical person you are. Negatively and gratuitously opining anonymously about the personal relationships of others is an act cowardice and cruelty. Why do you feel the need to do such a repellant thing?

@ Anonymous 3-31-20 9:17 --------------------------------King Lemuel's Mother is a woman of wisdom. Like her, Crystal is a woman of virtue You are mistaken when you assume these virtues are not evident. They clearly are to those who know her.
Kenny, You repeat all these things you find in the bible or some such place, letting us know that you are a faithful follower of the bible. Don't worry, no one believes any of what you say, but they all know (thanks to me)that you don't tell lies -- it'd just that, because of context, you don't understand.
Pretty sure King Lemuel’s mother wasn’t a stripper.
I’m pretty sure King Lemuel’s mother also never stole a car, threatened to stab someone with scissors, set someone’s clothes on fire, or fatally stabbed someone and went to prison for it.
So...No, CGM is pretty much the opposite of virtues describe in Proverbs 31.
Anonymous said: "I’m pretty sure King Lemuel’s mother also never stole a car, threatened to stab someone with scissors, set someone’s clothes on fire, or fatally stabbed someone and went to prison for it"...………...Crystal never steals. And unless sorely provoked would not injure or cause harm to anyone. She is, however, a woman of faith, a loving Mother, a generous person to those in need, an ambitious person who wanted to better her own circumstances and those of her Family and friends.
@ Guiowen 3-31-20 4:33 "some such place"; huh? That's pretty disdainful of scripture It's a place one can find Words of Wisdom that often bare quoting. For enlightenment, though, not virtue for signalling.

Hey, Anony.
You mistake intent, as, unlike President Trump, I am not seeking ratings. Rather I seek making a record. By posting on my blog site a record is made of the posting of my shar-videos and other entries. This, as in sent e-mails, is important as it documents thoughts at a point in time. For example, my February 11, 2015 e-mail to legislators was titled "Crystal Mangum was convicted of a non-existent crime." Thereby, this documents proof that years before Dr. Wecht's report of October 25, 2019, I had reached a similar conclusion about Reginald Daye's manner of death... that it was an accident and not murder.
This site is not a joke because it is the only site in the world that covers the truths of Mangum's murder case. The rest of the media and other bloggers, for example have never mentioned the report by Dr. Wecht of October 25, 2019 and its significance.
Not knowing your true identity, I do not know whether or not you personally know Ms. Mangum. I'm going to assume that you don't, in which case you are unable to talk about our relationship or her feelings. Without doubt I know Crystal much better than you as I've visited her weekly for more than seven years with few exceptions. We both look forward to the wedding.
You are correct that I do believe that my being married to Crystal gives her fight for justice great advantage, but that played no role in the development of our close relationship which was fostered over the years.
guiowen said... Kenny, The reason no other "source" talks about this is that no one (except you and Sidney) cares about this story.

Hey, gui, mon ami.
The reason the sources or media have lost interest in Mangum's case is that they've come to realize, or knew, that Mangum is innocent of the murder charge. The media is a co-conspirator in this issue because it covers the story with an agenda or objective in mind rather than objectively covering it. I think a reasonable person would agree that the October 25, 2019 report by Dr. Wecht is newsworthy, yet, after five months, there has been on coverage of it except by this blog site.

The NAACP has a legal department and, I believe, it represents wrongly accused without requiring payment.
On May 15, 2019 I formally asked the NAACP to represent Mangum by filing a form to Request Investigation into Civil Right or Social Justice violation. LINK to NAACP form Requesting an investigation Like the ACLU, innocence projects, and so-called other civil rights organizations, it refused.

Don't understand your comment, but for the record, it's been quite some time since I've been in the public library. I access the internet on my laptop through internet sharing.
Currently am at home in Raleigh getting ready to put together some more packets for mailing. Have so much more to do, including posting another legal document.
No. The date is indefinite as it will depend upon the earliest available day for the minister and lifting of coronavirus visitation restrictions. With only two guests allowed (one being the presiding minister) and an hour for the event, there's not much planning required.
Right now I am waiting to receive document(s) that will enable me to obtain a marriage license.

Hit him up to pay for her lawyer. Be sure to let us know how he responds.
April 2, 2020 at 1:53 PM
Hey, Anony.
Unfortunately most attorneys don't work for free or Pro Bono. First of all, I disagree with the premise that Crystal Mangum needs an attorney. The case has already been made... the legal work has already been done. If you view the latest shar-video you will understand that a major problem with the justice system is getting a fair and just ruling. The courts in this state, including the NC Court of Appeals, rules on a desired outcome rather than on the fairness, facts, and merit of the case.
Anonymous said... Sid -- The NAACP has a legal team for Civil Rights cases. Crystal Mangum's case is a CRIMINAL case. Are you a moron?

April 2, 2020 at 9:27 AM
Hey, Anony.
In response to your question, no, I'm not a moron. Like Trummp, I'm a stable genius.
Hah!
Seriously, civil rights violations are not restricted to civil cases. A person's civil rights can be violated in a criminal case, as well. O.J. Simpson's civil rights were violated, I believe, in his Las Vegas trial. That case, like Mangum's murder trial, is vendetta driven before a court determined to rule on its desired outcome regardless of the fairness or facts.
Actually, it is shameful that civil rights organizations have not actively gotten involved in Crystal Mangum's case. That is in large measure due to the fact that the media first vilified the target (Mangum, O.J., Nifong, etc.) so that the public would not be empathetic or sympathetic to the obvious injustices that would be meted out by the courts.
Though not having full knowledge of the facts of O.J.'s Vegas case, I don't think he should have been prosecuted or convicted. Mangum should never have been prosecuted, and Mike Nifong should not have been disbarred... the evidence against him being embarrassingly thin.
Could all of the delays be due to the fact that Crystal has cold feet?
April 10, 2020 at 3:39 PM
Hey, Anony.
Au contraire. The first delay is awaiting the receipt of a document from the prison chaplain that will enable me to obtain a marriage license. Once that is achieved, the date will be dependent on the availability of the minister. The future Mrs. Harr has no hand in those matters. And, of course, everything will depend on COVID-19.
Uh, Sid, Mike Nifong said that he believed disbarment would be appropriate and that he planned to waive all rights to appeal the findings of the bar panel. ...before the North Carolina Bar disciplinary committee announced its decision.
Why would he say that if the charges against him weren't true?
Crystal is a very traditional and conventional person. We briefly discussed her future surname and she is anxious to change her name to Harr... without any hyphen.
@ Anonymous 3-14-20 3:27:---- It's relevant to somehow, someway, sometime seeing the, hopelessly broken, corrupt US Justice System reformed. Everyone, except those blinded by hate, knows Crystal Mangum is innocent of murder; has been wrongly convicted and is being wrongly imprisoned. Those of you who know the facts but chose to do nothing are complicit, including Civil Rights Organizations and those on this blog who, thanks to Dr. Harr, know the truth. Hang your head in shame.
Anonymous Anonymous said... Is this blog relevant to anything these days?
April 14, 2020 at 3:27 PM
Hey, Anony.
I believe that my blog is relevant because it is a source of clear unadulterated truth, especially when it comes to Crystal Mangum and the injustices she's faced. There is no other blog, online media, or mainstream media (print or broadcast) that has told the truth when it comes to Ms. Mangum. I'll give five dollars (S5.00) to anyone who can provide a link to a story about Dr. Wecht's October 25, 2020 report on Mangum's case prior to today's date of April 15, 2020.
You see, the mainstream media has an agenda, so its coverage is selective, usually supressive when it comes to any news positive about Crystal Mangum. There are other publications online such as Carolina Public Press that purport to be non-profit and independent, but even they won't talk about Mangumm's case. The NC Justice Center in Raleigh puts out online articles in its "NC Policy Watch" about social justice, civil rights, and criminal issues, but it has refused to cover anything about Mangum.
But what's even more important is that my shar-videos are extremely important in that they expose serious problems within the criminal justice system related to Mangum's case. For example, my most recent shar-video in five parts shows how the Durham Superior Court and the NC Court of Appeals ruled based on a desired outcome rather than on facts, fairness, and merit of Mangum's case... and how the NC Supreme Court failed in its duty to assure justice.
There is much to learn on this blog site that you can't get anywhere else in the media over the radio, on television, in print and online.
For someone who want to hear the unvarnished truth and understand the lengths of the cruelty, corruption, and racism in the justice system, then this blog site is extremely relevant.
Anonymous Anonymous said... Uh, Sid, Mike Nifong said that he believed disbarment would be appropriate and that he planned to waive all rights to appeal the findings of the bar panel. ...before the North Carolina Bar disciplinary committee announced its decision.

April 15, 2020 at 7:40 AM
Hey, Anony.
I can't answer you question with any certainty. You'd have to ask him.
My belief, which is not based on any particular facts, is that he was probably following the advice of his attorneys. They probably convinced him that the judge would be more lenient and possibly sanction him only rather than disbarring him if he made such an admission, even though not true.
As you know, there are many times when a suspect, though innocent, will admit to a crime he/she did not commit.
Keep in mind that Mr. Nifong was under extreme pressure, especially by media which was unduly vilifying him. That's my take on it.
"there are many times when a suspect, though innocent, will admit to a crime he/she did not commit."
Trust me, Ol' Mikey knows this better than most. He taught it to his protege, Tracy Cline, as well. You can see where it got them both.
To quote ol' Mikey : "I agree with the attorney general's statement that there is no credible evidence that Mr. Seligmann, Mr. Finnerty and Mr. Evans committed any crimes for which they were indicted – or any other crimes against Ms. Mangum – during the party."
"They were entitled to the presumption of innocence when they were under indictment," Nifong continued. "Surely, they are entitled to more than that now as they go forward with the rest of their lives."
2 Anonymous 4-156-20 9:50AM Yep, it's the good old American way, regardless of what the truth is make a deal or say what you need to in order to mitigate your penalty, especially gaol time. Justice and deal making never coincide. This is true ,especially for the innocent.
Had former DA Nifong not have been hijacked by the powers that be, with their money, their hired guns and their political influence, there would have been the chance of a just outcome to the Duke Lacrosse debacle; where the only victims were a crusading DA and a poor marginalized African American mother and where perpetrators went free and, in fact, even profited from it.

One or more of the perpetrators were unidentified guests. Among the scores of guests, only two have been identified. Two, who happened to appear in cell-phone photographs of the dancers performing. Compiling any list was complicated by players refusing to cooperate and was inexplicably abandoned. As a smoke screen, all players were tested for their DNA even those known to be absent
Anonymous said..Kenhyderal - Are you calling Mike Nifong a liar?"...…… He said what he had to avoid being gaoled, probably it was agreed to by all participants in this broken criminal system. Just like all innocent Americans do who accept plead deals and plead guilty to a lesser crime they did not commit. The system promotes,(wink-wink),lying or doing time"; leveraged by impossible bails and long pre-trial incarcerations depriving innocent people of their liberty, especially poor marginalized minorities
I'm not going to tell you which blog entry, as you'll just go remove your comments.
But yeah, I can quote you.
And I didn't state anything about "unidentified guests" -- I specifically stated the 3 accused Duke LAX players.
That "unidentified guests" may or may not have perpetrated a crime and not been charged for it resides solely on 2 people: Crystal Mangum and Mike Nifong.
Crystal Mangum for identifying 3 young men she knew were innocent.
Mike Nifong for pursuing the case against those 3 young men knowing they were not guilty, rather than trying to identify if their actually were guilty parties.
@ Anonymous posters 4-18-20 11:23AM and 12:19 PM The only time I ever delete a post is when I discover a typo or grammatical error. Then I immediately correct and re-post it, usually within the same hour. I'm not like the prolific registered poster Kilgo who spent scores of hours deleting months and months of posts one by one. Crystal was told, "the three persons who assaulted you are in this photo line-up so point them out"; breaking every protocol around this famously flawed, prone to error, method of identifying perpetrators. DA Nifong, like Crystal, was given the advice, by their Counsel, without concern for veracity as to what to say. DA Nifong probably heeded this counsel whereas Crystal displayed "Nifongian Courage" and rejected Meier's advice to plead guilty to a lesser charge for time served

Sometime during this week I will make a very important announcement that will change the perspective on Mangum's case. Stay tuned.
As you were.
Sidney,
I hope your announcement is that you have finally managed to get a lawyer.

So, to you I say, "Aye, Anony, but not gone."
The very important announcement will follow.
As you were.

March 21, 2020 at 6:25 PM
Hey, Anony.
No need for a pre-nup as our assets are essentially comparable... which is not much. Besides, neither of us are that much into things.
So, since you are planning a prison wedding, I assume that means you have given up thinking she will get out anytime soon?

HEY, EVERYBODY... LISTEN UP!
A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!
I don't anticipate the media will cover my marriage to Mangum as that would go against the portrait it wants to paint of her as a psychotic emotionally unstable and violent woman with a penchant for stabbing or killing her boyfriends... someone who nobody would want to be with, much less marry.
Sid,
For years, I thought you were just a harmless clown. However, I now think you must have deep rooted mental problems.
Why do you think the media should cover you marriage? It is of absolutely no interest to the public.
March 21, 2020 at 6:31 PM

Hey, Anony.

(Haha... just joshing. I'm sure your nuptials were worthy of news coverage.)

Sid,
There you go again. You and Kenny both desperately need to reconnect with reality.
Please explain for us how marrying Crystal could possibly provide you with any leverage?
I honestly can't think of two people who deserve each other more.
My condolences to you both.
Congratulations, Dr. Harr.

Kenhyderal -- What I am stating is obvious
- Dr. Wecht's report CANNOT be used in an appeal.
Kenhyderal,
Instead of whining, why don't you help Sidney find a lawyer?
"Her rescue"?
Yeahhh. Where is she right now?
So much for "her rescue".
I take it by your comments you're NOT going to assist her in getting a criminal lawyer.
So my conclusion is correct.

Hey, gui, mon ami,
Crystal faces a singular problem unlike the majority of criminal clients... her attorneys do not represent her best interests, and the judges presiding over her cases rule on desired outcome rather than facts, fairness, and merits of the case. The lack of impartiality of judges is what the five-part shar-video is all about.

You can count on 1 hand the number of people that read this blog and comments on any given day.
CGM would be better served by you shutting down this blog and focusing your energy on getting her a lawyer.

I can tell you what I think of Crystal's kids, though. I am quite fond of all three of them. They are very kind, sociable, intelligent young adults, the youngest is thirteen. I look forward to becoming their stepfather.

You can cite no facts disproving this assertion. Your speculation about Dr. Harr's and Crystal's relationship is without merit and really quite disgusting. @ G and Anons. 30-3-20, 5:12, 7:01, 7:25.............................You have no bread? Then eat cake. Proverbs 31-8-9 "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy”
Kenny,
DO SOMETHING! All your virtue-signaling shows what a hypocrite you are.
Kenny -- Do you know that is King Lemuel repeating his mother's advice on how a just king should reign?
Perhaps you should be telling Crystal Mangum to study the following verses (10-31), the Eshet Ḥayil.
If she had studied the virtues described in those verses and lived a life where they were evident, she wouldn't be in the situation she's in now.
I take it by your comment you're not willing to assist Sid with paying for a lawyer.
@ Anonymous 3-31-20 9:17 --------------------------------King Lemuel's Mother is a woman of wisdom. Like her, Crystal is a woman of virtue You are mistaken when you assume these virtues are not evident. They clearly are to those who know her.
@ Guiowen 3-31-20 8:59 So G. Tell us what virtues I've signalled to you.
Kenny is on a Google binge.
Kenny,
You repeat all these things you find in the bible or some such place, letting us know that you are a faithful follower of the bible.
But thanks for playing.
Right on kenhyderal.
Kenny,

LINK to NAACP form Requesting an investigation
Like the ACLU, innocence projects, and so-called other civil rights organizations, it refused.

Sid -- The NAACP has a legal team for Civil Rights cases. Crystal Mangum's case is a CRIMINAL case. Are you a moron?
They tell you right on their web page to consult with a LOCAL ATTORNEY.

Poor Kenny, He's like most people....
Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives are a mimicry, their passions a quotation.
Let me get this straight --
"...attempting to retain an attorney for Crystal has been futile. Furthermore, she needs a dedicated lawyer with her interests as a priority."
But only if they're free?
Here's a thought -- Didn't Jesse Jackson say something about Crystal never again needing to stoop so low to survive?
Hit him up to pay for her lawyer. Be sure to let us know how he responds.

I don't, like you and most other people, believe that Crystal committed murder and that she is a bad person. Unlike you and most other people, I know Crystal and I know the facts. When you apply a quote from the great epigrammatist Oscar Wilde, firstly you should quote him, otherwise you are just a mimic, then you should apply that quote in a manner that supports your contention.
@ Anonymous 2-4-20. You can't buy dedication to a client, at least from the vast majority of mercenary American Lawyers. They are guns for hire to the highest bidder be they the good guys or the bad guys
Sid,
Have you set a date?
Hallo Sidney. Where are you?
Kenny,
Any news regarding the whereabouts of Kilgo?
Sidney,
Are you all right?
Doesn't Sid use the public library for his updates?

Hey, Anony.
Don't understand your comment, but for the record, it's been quite some time since I've been in the public library. I access the internet on my laptop through internet sharing.

Hey, gui, mon ami.
I'm doing well, and thanks for asking. Been busy working trying to get my fiancee out of prison. So much to upload to this site.
Trying to practice social distancing, but I could do a better job.
Hope that all's well with you and your family.

Hey, Anony.
Currently am at home in Raleigh getting ready to put together some more packets for mailing. Have so much more to do, including posting another legal document.

Hey, Anony.

Sidney,
Could all of the delays be due to the fact that Crystal has cold feet?

Sidney,
Have you picked out your tux?
Sidney,
Is she really changing her name to Crystal Harr?
Is this blog relevant to anything these days?
Uh, Sid, Mike Nifong said that he believed disbarment would be appropriate and that he planned to waive all rights to appeal the findings of the bar panel.
...before the North Carolina Bar disciplinary committee announced its decision.
Why would he say that if the charges against him weren't true?

April 11, 2020 at 8:20 AM
Hey, Anony.

Consider yourself enlightened.

To quote ol' Mikey :
"I agree with the attorney general's statement that there is no credible evidence that Mr.
Sidney,
Does your tux match her jumpsuit?

2 Anonymous 4-156-20 9:50AM Yep, it's the good old American way, regardless of what the truth is make a deal or say what you need to in order to mitigate your penalty, especially gaol time. Justice and deal making never coincide. This is true ,especially for the innocent.
Kenhyderal,
Is there any way we can get you to stop whining?
So, Kenny, are you defending Mikey’s record in the lacrosse case?
Had former DA Nifong not have been hijacked by the powers that be, with their money, their hired guns and their political influence, there would have been the chance of a just outcome to the Duke Lacrosse debacle; where the only victims were a crusading DA and a poor marginalized African American mother and where perpetrators went free and, in fact, even profited from it.
Kenny,
Are you planning to post anything new this year? All you have done is pass along quotes from your Google searches and repeat the same old tired comments. Can’t you do better than this?
Kenny - Are you now saying the 3 accused Duke LAX players were “perpetrators”? I’m pretty sure you’ve stated they were not guilty in the past.
Were you lying then, or are you lying now?
Kenhyderal -
Are you calling Mike Nifong a liar?
Anony 8:12,
Kenny never lies. It's just that, because of context, he forgets half of what he's said, and misinterprets half of what other people do.

Kenny -- Oct/Nov 2012.
So....Were you lying then or lying now?
Okay -- So according to Kenny, Mike Nifong is lying.
Good to know Kenny thinks he's a liar.
Honestly, I think he is, too.
